Screw The Cubs

I'm a Brewers fan. Plain and simple. My passion for baseball has only come on in the last few years, but I remember going to the ball park every summer with my family. While I'm a fan of the game, I'm not a fan of the clubs that abuse the system. Their answer to solve problems is to throw more money at it and you'll end up with a winner. In some cases, that works. In others, well, it just doesn't. My personal to 3 most despised baseball teams are:

1. The Yankees - This is for obvious reasons. They have a single player that is making more than a whole team collectively. There's just something wrong with that.

2. The Redsox - Number one, their fans are obnoxious and you can't understand a word they say. I do give props to the phrase "Wicked Pissa" though. Makes me smile just thinking about saying it. Give it a try! Secondly, if you mention the Yankees, this team is just about always mentioned right after them... Blah.

3. The Cubs - Now that they're division rivals, its just a simple matter of it has to be. If you're a Packers fan, you don't like the Bears or the Vikings. If you're a Badgers fan, you don't like the Gophers. If you're a Brewers fan, you can't stand the Cubs. Sorry folks, thats just the way things work. I also can't stand the talk of the 100 year curse. Blah. I like goats. I don't know what purpose they serve on earth other than to be gimicks in Adam Sandler skits and to feed those ice cream cones filled with pellets at the zoo, but I do like the fact that when the Cubs were cursed, it took on the form of a goat. Cubs fans will say "Screw the goat!" but I on the other hand say, "Goat, screw the Cubs!"

Ok. There's your journey through my mind today. Talk amongst yourselves...
