Enter The New Year, 2008!

Happy 2008 everyone! I hope the new year finds everyone in high spirits and good health. FMD and I are bracing for what is going to prove to be an exciting transition in our lives this year... Graduation, vacations, moving, new jobs... Who knows what else is in store for us?

As far as our final 2007 activities, FMD and I have certainly been on the move. Friday we got to visit with SCB and a few other college friends. It was great to get out of the house on such a crappy (weather) night. After a few rounds of Apples to Apples, we wound up playing Catchphrase for waaay to long. And by waaay to long, I mean just long enough to get FMD and I hooked on it so we had to go and buy our own. We also got to visit with SCB on Saturday and we had dinner at the most "Madison" place we could think of, The Great Dane. Good food, good beer, good friends, what else could you have asked for.

FMD and I rang in the new year with her family in Spirit. Not the typical new year celebration destination, but it was a good time none-the-less. Lots of hunting opportunities, visiting with her grandparents, and spending time with the rest of her family, sleigh rides through the woods, bowling... We were plenty busy. Dove hunting and bowling were my personal highlights. I managed to bag 4 of those weary bird seed stealers and rolled a 140, 190, and 178. Not too shabby if I say so myself.

This week is yet another short week at work and thats just fine with me. I don't know what I'll do when I have to step back into the real world and have a two day weekend followed by a normal work week... I'm looking forward to it though. FMD is working this weekend so I'm going to try and start on my next decoy project(s) and my job is going very well. Its still a little slow now, but work bound to pick up with the new year and new budgets.

I guess thats it for now... Hope to hear from everyone soon! Happy New Year!!
