Yup. Just another day. The day started out, interesting enough, with nightmares of having my eyes gouged out with a box cutter/razor blade. Ick. Couldn't sleep the rest of the night and continued to have dreams that wreaked havoc on my mind. Don't ask me for details as I really don't remember any of them, but they were definitely weird and f'ed up.
8:18 am arrives as is does every morning and I go to jump in the car and head to work. No dice. 4 degrees is too much for the Saturn's battery. A quick email to my supervisor, waking my wife up on her day to sleep in (bad because she has to work until 3 am), and untangling the only set of jumper cables we have finally gets the car going. I head to work for the day and leave FMD to fend for herself with a car thats running now but not sure if it will if she turns off... Needless to say, a visit to Wally and a trip to the dealer, coupled with $85, she has a new battery that she installed herself after her dentist appointment. Now, she's grocery shopping. Damn! She deserves a round of applause for the day she's having! I only wish my day was as exciting as hers.
Me, I'm in the office. What did I accomplish today? Well, lets see. I brought some boxes into the inventory room but we don't know what to do with them since my supervisor is out with strep until next week... I helped someone figure out how to program a printer... I scheduled two more dentist appointments... I had lunch... I'm blogging... Blah. Bored. Thats ok though. I'm getting paid more money now but I don't get to go home and nap on the couch anymore. Such is life.
